A very private and exclusive look inside the home of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro.
When they purchased the house that is located in the canyons above the Beverly Hills Hotel, they relied on the help of the design team Velvet Hammerschmidt & Heidi Toll. In working with the designers, Carmen wanted a sleek, clean look of one of the many boutique hotels she stays at. To make the living room feel like a hotel lobby was a goal. She calls the living room the great room. Sun pours in from the canyon and it has a huge 62 inch plasma TV viewing area with a wrap around couch, cozy pillows and deep pile rug. The portrait of Dave and Carmen is taken from a Rolling Stone magazine that the couple had blown up and painted. In front of it is a platform Carmen designed that the piano sits on. The piano is from Dave's bachelor days. After taking piano lessons for a year, Electra has since sworn it off. She prefers the drums, which were a gift from Dave and sit just to the side of the dining room table. One of Dave's prize possessions is displayed in the living room, a guitar once owned and used by music legend Curt Cobain.
